The state of Texas is looking into banning gay and bisexual people from being foster parents.
Because, you know, they feel homosexuality is icky, and counter to their religious beliefs. Which is a perfectly good reason, in their minds, to deny children what are probably perfectly good homes. Because heterosexual couples are somehow better and more stable, by virtue of their heterosexuality alone. Barf.
It just doesn't make any fucking sense.
